About The Event
Immigration is one of the most sensitive and least understood issues facing the United States at the present time. Roughly 52 million people living in the US are Immigrants, that is, were born outside of its borders. As the immigration landscape continues to unfold, recent policy and procedural changes are affecting immigrants as well as non-immigrants throughout the country.
Alyson Ball has spent the past ten years studying global migration and U.S. Immigration history and law. A resident of Charlottesville, she spends part of the year at the border in Arizona, and as a member of the Community Development Committee of the IRC, regularly speaks at conferences informing the general public in Arizona and Virginia on immigration issues.
Alyson is retired from Corporate Marketing and International Business. She holds an MBA from…
