About The Event
Will a peace agreement be reached in the near term between Russia and Ukraine? After Russia’s invasion more than three years ago, fighting continues despite heavy losses and massive destruction. Europe struggles in its support of Ukraine and the United States wavers. Peace talks are on-going, but Putin seems adamant to achieve a dominant victory despite the cost.
We are pleased to welcome back Professor Kimmage who is well qualified to address the future prospects for a resolution of the conflict. A specialist in the history of the Cold War, in twentieth-century U.S. diplomatic and intellectual history, and in U.S.-Russian relations. Michael Kimmage is the Director of the Kennan Institute, an independent think tank in Washington, D.C.
